Your information really helped bring it all together for me, what a God send, just when I thought I was at the end of the road. I am the daughter of Charles D Crouch who is the son of Gus and Gracie Crouch and the Grand son of Asa Andrew Crouch. We lost my Grand mother Mary Helen Whitt Crouch in January and I have been researching family history as a consolation to for the loss. Comment: I enjoyed your website very much. I was also interested because I am a Hodge descendant. My gr gr grandmother was Minerva Ann Hodge who was born in Ky aroun 1810 to 1814. the census is contradictory. I think she was the Minerva Ann Hodge who married Malachi E Oliver in Madison Co, Tenn in 1830. In 1842 she married Thomas Fitzhugh Bryarly in Red River Co, Tx. She had two boys, William and John, b. 1833 and 1835. We have established that she grew up near Bowling Green and her uncle was said to have owned a mill there. We are certain she is a Hodge because we confirmed her maiden name through Bryarly papers at Duke University. Do you have any clues that would tie her into your Hodge family? she couldn't have just dropped out of the sky.
